Success for Sligo trainer Mark McNiff in Wexford

Coolaney trainer Mark McNiff was on the scoresheet on Wednesday night at Wexford as his Mr Moonshine landed the Loch Garman Handicap Hurdle in good style.

Ridden by conditional jockey Paddy Kennedy from Kerry, the six-year-old made steady headway before challenging at the final flight and asserting away to win at odds of 7-1.

McNiff’s horses appear to be in fine form of late, having enjoyed victory at Downpatrick last Friday with Miss Blanche, and the horse’s journey to the south-east was rewarded in this €10,000 contest.
