There was good news for Sligo-based Aurivo today after they achieved certification to the business improvement model, Excellence Through People (ETP).
The aim of the certificate is to get organisations to look at their staff as a key source of competitive advantage. It is accredited by the National Standards Authority of Ireland and the National Human Resources Management Scheme.
The agricultural co-operative has also been accredited in People Excellence and are one of only six companies in the country this year to do so.
Each of the organisations who achieved certification were independently audited by NSAI inspectors in order to ensure they complied with the standards.
Aurivo currently employs 620 people across Connacht and Ulster and is the largest milk processor and co-operative in the West of Ireland.
Lydia Mahon, Head of Human Resources at Aurivo explained the steps the company had to go through to achieve the certification.
