Donegal Town’s Amy Boyle Carr hit her second international goal in the space of three days as she helped the Republic of Ireland Women’s U16s defeat Lithuania 5-0 in the UEFA Development Tournament at Solar 21 Park in Castlebar yesterday.
The youngster came off the bench in the second half to net the fifth goal in a comfortable win as the Irish made it two wins from two.
Amy Boyle Carr also netted in Monday’s 6-0 defeat of Northern Ireland in Westport, having played the first half of that game.
Greencastle’s Kate McClenaghan started for the Irish team in yesterday’s game, and came on as a second half substitute in Monday’s match.
The Irish face an also unbeaten Denmark in their final game in Westport at 12 noon tomorrow.
