A North Leitrim councillor is appealing to people to use new transport services that will be rolled out in the area.
Transport provider Local Link is increasing its services in North Leitrim, with links to various towns and villages, including from Manorhamilton to Carrick on Shannon.
They will particulatly benefit people in rural areas, some of whom may not drive or have a car.
From July 1st, they include a five-day return service from Manorhamilton to Rossinver and onto Kiltyclogher, connecting with Bus Eireann services to Enniskillen and Sligo.
There’s also a service from Drumkeerin to Manorhamilton and Dromahair.
And there will be a three-day week service every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday linking Manorhamilton and Carrick on Shannon.
