A Donegal councillor says bins should be available on the county’s beaches as early as Easter.
There are currently no bins on any beach in the county at the moment unless placed there by locals.
Bins are only placed on beaches once the blue flag season begins in the summer.
Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy spoke to Ocean FM following a community led clean up at Rossnowlagh beach on Saturday.
She says Donegal County Council is working on putting bins on local beaches once warm weather arrives.
