The CEO of Pieta House says it is the organisation’s ambition to further expand its services in the region.
Brian Higgins was speaking at the opening of the new suicide and self-harm crisis centre in Letterkenny today.
Speaking to Ocean FM, Mr Higgins said that the new centre will act as a hub for the north west.
He said that the lack of bereavement related services in this area is an issue.
But that conversations are already taking place in relation to establishing outreach rooms in Sligo.
