Bunninadden GAA Club Notes

Training continues Wednesday evening for all U6/U8/U10 at 7:00pm in Bunnanadden pitch.

The U12 team lost to a stronger Tubbercurry/Cloonacool side on Tuesday evening last in Ballymote. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00pm in Ballymote.

The U14 team played Drumcliffe/Rossespoint on Friday evening last in Oxfield and came out victorious on a score of 4:11 to 6:07. This game was played at high intensity from start to finish. At half time Bunnanadden/Ballymote were on two points ahead. The opposition took control of the game early in the second half and looked like they had victory in sight, but the lads played all the way to the final whistle and grabbed the points with a last ditch goal. The next game is Friday evening against Curry in Bunnanadden pitch at 8:00pm.

The U/16 team played St. Molaise Gaels away on Tuesday evening last but lost out with a score of 6:07 to 3:07.

Minors lost to Curry on Thursday evening last with a score of 2:12 to 0:15. The team will be taking a break for a few weeks due to exams.

Our senior team played St. Pat’s on Saturday last in the first game of the Benson Cup. With a very close contest and coming out victorious with a score of 1:14 to 2:10.

Congratulations to Connor Murray and Luke Marren two of our club members on winning awards for player of the year with St. Attracta’s Community School.

Bunnanadden GAA Club would like to wish Connor Murray, Barry Cafferkey and Michael Gorman the best of luck next Sunday, they will play the U17 Connacht Championship against Mayo in McHale Park Castlebar prior to the Senior game. Throw in at 11:45 am.
