What’s been described as ‘another significant milestone’ has taken place in the development of the N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin road project.
It’s the signing of a contract with the company Halcrow Barry Limited to provide engineeering consultancy services for the scheme.
Halcrow Barry’s first task now is to produce contract documents for the job.
It’s expected these will be complete in November, ensuring Sligo County Council will be able to go to tender for the construction contract before the end of this year.
