Irish Water takes over council accounts in Sligo



Irish Water is, from today, taking over the almost 6,400 accounts of those who receive their water supply from Sligo County Council.

Responsibility for the administration of the accounts will move from the local authority and, from now on, bills will be issued by Irish Water as they become due.

Charges for business customers, credit terms and the frequency of billing will remain the same while this change is taking place.
