Kathleen Sherlock, nee McCabe, Kilmacowen, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo. Unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital. Removal from her home this morning to the Star of the Sea Church, Ransboro, Sligo, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in Kilmacowen cemetery.  House private to family this morning please.


Bernard Joseph Mc Sharry, Rooskey, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim.  Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Funeral mass at St Aidan’s Church, Ballaghmeehan, this morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Rossinver new cemetery. House strictly private please.


Edward Joe McManus, Drumbeggan, Derrygonnelly, Co Fermanagh. Reposing at his late residence.  Funeral to arrive at the Immaculate Conception Church, Monea, for funeral Mass this morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.


Eamonn McGowan, 90, Tonagh Road, Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh. Family time only at his late residence this morning. Arriving at the Immaculate Conception Church, Monea, for funeral Mass today at 3pm. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Derrygonnelly. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Botha Renovation Fund, C/o Damian McGovern Funeral Directors, Derrygonnelly.


Albert Bree, Crozon Park, Sligo. Funeral will arrive at Sligo Cathedral this afternoon for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.30pm, with funeral proceeding afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, arriving at 4pm approximately.  House private this morning please, no flowers by request, donations in lieu if desired to the Sligo Stoma Support Group or the RNLI, C/O Foley & McGowan Funeral Home Market Yard, Sligo.


Nell Finnerty nee Burke, Sea View , Ballymoghany, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo.  Peacefully at her residence. Funeral will arrive to St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnor this morning for requiem mass at 12pm with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass.  House strictly private.  Family flowers only, donations if desired to a charity of your choice, C/o McGowan’s funeral directors.


Mary Bridget (Bridie) Murren, (nee Mc Loughlin ), White Strand, 2nd Sea Road, Sligo, and formerly of Knappagh Road, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo this evening from 5:30 pm with removal at 7pm to St Patrick’s Church, Strandhill, Co Sligo, arriving at 7:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Thursday with interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Friends of Sligo University Hospital, C/o Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Directors, Market Yard, Sligo.


Sr. Ellen (Nellie) Woods, Melbourne, Australia, and late of Aughamore, Sligo.  Funeral will take place in Melbourne.  A Memorial Mass will take place in Sligo University Hospital at 12 noon on Saturday May 6th.


Seamus Doherty, formerly of Carrick Road, Kilcar. In Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England. Brother of  Gerard Doherty, Ballinatone, Ballybofey,and Ursula Molloy, Breenagh, Glenswilly. Remains will arrive at St. Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, this evening at 6pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 am, with interment in the local cemetery


Brigid Kelly, Ballymore, Teelan, Co Donegal and formerly of Dungannon, Co Tyrone. Remains will repose at her son John’s residence in Ballymore from 2pm today. Removal on Friday morning at 10:30am to St Columba’s Church, Carrick, for 11am funeral Mass, with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
