Congrats to our Fred Daly team of Sean Carroll, Darragh Connolly, Patrick Callaghan, Sean Tailly and Eoin McGrath on a great 4-1 win against Castlebar golf club in Castlebar on Saturday last. With the 5 matches away it was a great win for the lads. Well Done.
National 4ball inter club.
Last weekend also saw our first senior match of the year with Team Captain Niall Walsh and his team taking on Ballaghderren at home in the National 4ball inter club. First up at home was Tony Wasyalocha and Paul McGonigle and the lads won the first point for Castledargan with a 4&3 win. Next up word filtered through that the away pairing of Adrian McGoldrick and Donal McLoughlin had won their match which gave Castledargan a great away point. The other lads playing away was Thomas Kelly and Martin Burke but they came up against a strong home pairing. Back home the pairing of Wilfred Burke and Paul Mullen were 2up through 15 and Aiden McGoldrick and James Davey were also 2up through 15 which put Castledargan in a strong position. And the winning point came when Aiden and Jame won on the 16th for a 3&2 win. Congrats to Niall and team on their win.

Next weekend we have the Darren Clarke Cup qualifier Sponsored by New Smile Dental Clinic on the Bank Holiday Saturday, Sunday and Monday 29th, 30th April and 1st May.
