The North West is receiving a major boost this weekend from the Radisson West of Ireland Golf Championship at the County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point.
While it’s all about the golf, the event also brings a major boost in business, and is seen by many as the start of the year’s tourist season.
David O Donovan, general manager at the golf club, has been telling Ocean FM News of the spin-offs of the championships for the surrounding region.
And he says the good weather has been an added attraction.
