Sligo sisters Ruth, Lucy and Halle Conlon-Oates travelled to City West in Dublin last weekend to complete against Ireland’s toughest kickboxers. All three were eager to win their place on the podium and secure a place on the Irish kickboxing team.
Ruth, Lucy and Halle all battled through their respective divisions at the Kickboxing national championships to take home the coveted title. The girls have been training for a number of years under chief instructor Des Leonard at Collooney Kickboxing Club.
Ruth and Lucy will now represent Ireland at the European Kickboxing Championships in Macedonia in September this year.
