KFO to lead fishing convoy in search for missing 116 crewmen



The Killybegs Fishermen’s Organisation is to lead a search involving a convoy of fishermen this weekend in an effort to find the two missing crewmen of Rescue 116.

A sweeping search of the waters near Blackrock island where the helicopter went down is to begin on Saturday morning.

A convoy of fishing vessels will set out in a bid to locate missing crewmembers Ciaran Smith and Paul Ormsby.

The coordinated search follows an appeal from Mr Smith’s family to find the missing men.
