Patients urged to have their say on their hospital experience



Patients in Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals are to be asked for their opinions on the service they receive and how they are looked after.

It’s part of Ireland’s first ever such survey — and the largest of its kind — which will start on May 1st, details of which are being annonced this morning.

All patients over the age of 18 who spend at least one night in hospital and are then discharged will receive a copy of the survey.

The information from the survey will be used to decide on future health policy and to improve care for patients.
