Fears raised that Primary Care Centre in Kinlough is being ‘downgraded’



A West of Ireland Senator is raising concerns about the future of a north Leitrim primary care centre in the Seanad today.

The issue has been raised at a local level by Fianna Fail Councillor Justin Warnock who fear the centre in Kinlough is being downgraded.

His party colleague Senator Keith Swannick, who is a local GP in Belmullet, is to call on the Minister for Health to outline the future plans, including staffing and facilities, for the centre when he speaks at in the Seanad this morning.
