Sligo captain Darragh Cummins was named man of the match after kicking four sublime second half points from play, while senior player Patrick O’Connor kicked five points.

The crucial score came with ten minutes remaining as Jodie O’Reilly bravely punched the ball to the net after he was set up by Kyle Cawley.

Sligo will face the winners of this weekend’s second semi-final between Mayo and Galway in the decider.

Bonner was delighted…

Senior panelist Jamie Brennan was one of Donegal’s star performers, and the Bundoran forward admitted it took them a while to find their rhythm…

In hurling, Tyrone kept alive their promotion hopes in Division 3A of the Allianz Hurling League with a 1-12 to 1-10 win over Donegal in Garvaghey.
