TDs are being asked to sanction a referendum on enshrining the right to housing in our constitution.
The joint initiative of the Peter McVerry Trust – the National Organisation of the Unemployed and Independent Donegal TD Thomas Pringle seeks to add a number of innate rights to our laws.
It’s being released in a bid to prevent future housing and health crises.
