North Donegal community in shock after local woman found dead in India



It’s understood the Irishwoman found dead in India was a Donegal woman in her 20s.

Police in Goa have begun a murder investigation into the woman’s death, after her remains were discovered early yesterday morning.

The Department of Foreign Affairs earlier confirmed the young woman was travelling on a British passport, and that an Irish consular official was travelling to the region, while the Embassy is liaising with British authorities.
