Young Belleek woman’s election concludes a good weekend for Sinn Fein in the North



A 26 year old in Belleek is celebrating following her election in the Northern Irish elections over the weekend.

Jemma Dolan who has close Donegal connections was elected on the third county in the Fermanagh South Tyrone constituency.

She is one of the two youngest MLAs who were successful in the elections which took Sinn Fein to within one seat of the DUP over the weekend.

She is one of three Sinn Fein MLAs now serving the constituency along with Michelle Gildernew and Sean Lynch.

Her priorities include securing jobs for Fermanagh, opposing fracking and protecting farmers, businesses and communities from the potential impacts of Brexit.
