A Donegal TD says there is no reason mobile companies shouldn’t be able to ensure widespread phone coverage.
Fianna Fail’s Charlie McConalogue has called on the Communications Minister Denis Naughten to take decisive action and implement a universal service obligation which will ensure a quality mobile service in the North West.
Hitting out at mobile companies deputy McConalgue says people in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are unable to properly conduct business or even personal matters when they cannot rely on their phone coverage.
He believes companies only care about profitability and not consumers.
