Lissadell House to reopen this weekend



One of the North West’s flagship tourism attractions will reopen for a new season this Sunday.

The opening day at Lisadell House and estate will be marked by two events.

One will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the 1867 Fenian Rebellion.

Lissadell was the childhood home of the 1916 rebel countess, Constance Markievicz, and the day will also include the launch of an exhibition entitled ‘The March of a Nation.’
