Works at Cornacloy on the N16 between Manorhamilton and Blacklion will be finished in March.
The work has been carried out in two phases for over a year now and the end of works will be welcomed by motorists.
It will improve the section of this busy route for 2km between Cornacloy and Sradrine on the Glenfarne side of Manorhamilton.
Senior Roads Engineer in Leitrim Shay O’Connor confirmed at a meeting of the Manorhamilton Municipal District this week that works are nearing an end.
Meanwhile he says that they hope to secure funding next year to ensure construction work can start on the new Drumamahan scheme on the Glencar side of Manorhamilton:
