Crunch games for Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal ladies in the league this weekend



The venues have been confirmed for all this weekend’s action in round three of the Lidl National League.

Donegal will face last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists Dublin in Parnell Park in Division One, looking to bounce back from their one-point defeat away to Kerry last weekend.

Sligo have won their last two games in Division Two, and will this weekend travel to face Laois at Annanough GAA Club in Vicarstown.

And in Division Three, Leitrim will host Wexford in O’Heslin Park in Ballinamore, looking for their third win from four games.

All of Sunday’s games throw-in at 2pm.

Meanwhile, IT Sligo’s ladies footballers defeated University of Limerick in round two of the Giles Cup in Limerick on Wednesday evening.

It finished 3-13 to 0-9 in favour of the Sligo girls, who now advance to a home quarter-final next Tuesday.

And in the Sligo LGFA Schools Final will take place on Thursday, March 16, at 12 noon in Cloonacool.

St Attracta’s Community School will face the Mercy College.
