ESB still working to restore power to hundreds in the region

About 400 people throughout South Donegal, Sligo and parts of Leitrim are still without electricity this evening in the aftermath of Storm Doris.

But the number without power is coming down as ESB get more homes reconnected.

There are still hundreds of people without power and the ESB have confirmed to Ocean FM they may not have everyone fixed by tonight.

However, it is hoped to have electricity restored to most people by 10pm.

These include more than 20 people in the Manorhamilton area, 61 near Boyle, 82 around Gurteen, 43 near Tubbercurry, about 10 in Donegal, 66 in Bundoran and 14 in Ballytivnan in Sligo.

Spokesperson Bernadine Maloney has this warning for anyone still left in the dark.
