Siobháin O’Doherty, Mountjoy Square, Dublin and late of Cartron Bay, Sligo.  Suddenly in Dublin.  Reposing at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo from 5pm today. Removal at 6.30pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Thursday. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Family home at Cartron Bay private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice Fund c/o Sean Feehily at Feehily’s Funeral Home at Cartron Cross, Sligo.

 

 

Brendan Ross, Main Street, Coolaney, Co Sligo. Peacefully at the Northwest Hospice.
Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Joseph, Rockfield,  arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Rockfield Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Northwest Hospice. House private please.

 

Alfie Cassidy, Fanaghan, Inver, Co. Donegal. Remains will be reposing at his daughter Ann’s residence in Fanaghan, Inver today. Removal from there on Thursday morning to St. Nauls Church Ardaghey for 11am funeral mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

 

 

James O’Connell, Boyle Road, Collooney and formerly of Dromore, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo. At St. Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Reposing at Fowley’s Funeral Home, Dromahair, on Thursday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Removal on Friday to St. Theresa’s Church, Ballintogher, for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Nathy’s Cemetery.

 

 

Sister Martha Doherty, Blackrock Drive, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. At the Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Laghey. Remains reposing at 17 Blackrock Drive, Ballybofey, this evening from 6pm. Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 10.40am for requiem mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, with interment afterwards in Drumboe cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Social Services and Care of the Aged c/o Gerard McCool & Son funeral directors.

 

 

Brendan Dunne, Ballinacor, Bracklyn, Delvin, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Doorly Park, Sligo. Unexpectedly in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Pre-deceased by his wife Eileen, nee Gunning, Sligo, Reposing in St. Camillus Nursing Centre chapel, Killucan, Co. Westmeath today from 4.30pm followed by mass at 6pm. Funeral mass on Thursday in St. Anne’s Church, Sligo at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cleveragh cemetery.

 

Mary Currid, nee Breheny. St. John’s Hospital, Sligo and formerly of Mount Town, Drumnacool, Geevagh, Co. Sligo and USA. Peacefully at St. John’s  Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at the St. John’s Hospital Chapel on Thursday from 6pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Strandhill, on Friday for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, afterwards.

 

 

Farnan Jordan, Cannaghanally, Dromore West, Co Sligo. Peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Funeral will arrive at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Dromore West, on Thursday evening at 6pm. Requim Mass on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in Churchill Cemetery.
