Gardai were alerted to a blaze at Aurivo at around 11:15pm last night in Ballaghaderreen by a local woman who heard an explosion and saw “the sky light up”. No one was injured in the fire and fire services from Mayo and Roscommon were called to the scene where it is not being treated as suspicious.
There was also a fire in a residential home in Cuppenagh, Cloonloo last night. Gardai and fire service were called to the scene. No one was injured nor is it being treated as suspicious.
