Less than two weeks before Leitrim hotel-owners face potential prosecution

There are fewer than two weeks left for council ordered refurbishments to take place on a hotel in North Leitrim.

The owners of the Abbey Manor Hotel in Dromahair were ordered by the county council last October to undertake refurbishment works before March 1st or face legal proceedings.

So far no works have taken place and the registered owners of the property have been accused of not engaging with officials.

Cathaoirleach of the council Mary Bohan says the ideal outcome would be a rumoured new owner who would restore the hotel.
