Joseph Ndo steps down as Mayo League head coach



The Mayo League have announced that Mayo League head coach, and former Sligo Rovers legend, Joseph Ndo is stepping down. Joseph has overseen the Mayo League side for the past two seasons, having joined in September 2015. The chairman of the Mayo League, Padraig McHale, thanked Joseph for his contribution and dedication over the past two years. “Joseph brought in a new level of professionalism to the game here in the county. His coaching will benefit a great number of young players that he has worked with for many years to come”. He went on to say that on behalf of the league I would like to state that it has been a great pleasure working with Joseph and we wish him every success in the future”.

Mr. McHale also revealed that Brendan Kenny, who is a multiple Elvery’s Super League winner with Ballina Town and former Mayo manager will be taking charge of the Mayo League side for the next match which will be against as yet unknown opposition in the EA Sports Cup in March. The draw for the first round will be taking place shortly.
