St Attracta’s book their place in Connacht Senior A final

St Attracta’s Tubbercurry are through to this year’s Connacht Senior A Championship final after beating St Jarlath’s of Tuam by 1-10 to 0-11 in Claremorris this afternoon.

Conan Marren’s first half goal proved crucial as the Tubbercurry school remain on course for a Connacht Senior A League and Championship double.

Colm McGee’s side will now face beaten league finalists St Colman’s College once again in the final.

The Claremorris team beat Rice College Westport by 3-9 to 1-9 in the first semi-final last week.

St Attracta’s are also preparing for the Connacht Junior A Championship final, with the junior side set to face St Jarlath’s in the Connacht final on Tuesday, February 28.
