Boyle Celtic drawn away to Waterford’s Carrick United in FAI Junior Cup

Boyle Celtic will make the long journey to Waterford for the quarter-finals of the FAI Junior Cup.

The draw for the last eight was made at the Aviva Stadium yesterday evening, and the reigning Sligo-Leitrim champions were paired with 2008 winners Carrick United.

Elsewhere, favourites Sherriff YC will face Peake Villa in Tipperary; Killarney Celtic will host Janesboro; and fellow Limerick side Kilmallock United will be away to Kilkenny’s Evergreen.

The games will take place on the second weekend in March.
