Sligo County Council has been given the go-ahead for a litter warden for the county.
County Sligo presently does not have such a warden.
Mayor of Sligo Marie Casserly raised the issue at a meeting of the County Council recently.
The role is on a temporary basis while the role of a permanent traffic warden is also being advertised
