Full Capacity Protocol in place once again at LUH

The Full Capacity Protocol is in place again at Letterkenny University Hospital today.

The Saolta Hospital Group is apologising to families as they continue to deal with extremely busy conditions at the hospital’s emergency department today where there are 21 people on trolleys.

In a statement today, the group is advising anyone thinking of going to the Emergency Department to expect delays and to go only in the case of ‘real’ emergencies.

Meanwhile, there are 11 people on trolleys today at Sligo University Hospital.
