Ratepayers in County Leitrim who have questions or concerns about their property valuations will have the opportunity to meet staff from the Valuations Office today and tomorrow, the 6th and 7th February.
They will be at the county council offices in Carrick on Shannon between 9:30am and 4:30pm.
There has been concern throughout County Leitrim recently when ratepayers received their proposed valuation certificates, with some thinking there were massive increases in the rates they would have to pay.
Although some ratepayers are facing bigger bills, it emerged others were reading their certificates wrong, mistaking the new property valuation for the rates payable.
Declan Lavelle, of the Valuation Office, says setting the valuations is an ongoing process.
