Michael McGowan, Ferndale, Cairns Rd, Sligo and formerly of Leitrim South, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo. Suddenly. Funeral will arrive at St. John’s Church, Carraroe, today for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards. House private please. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Pieta House, C/o Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Directors, Market Yard, Sligo.

 

Kathleen Heron, 3 St Patrick’s Terrace, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh. Remains reposing today from 12 noon until 10pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until 10pm. House private at all other times. Remains arriving in St Patrick’s Church, Belleek, for 11am funeral Mass on Monday followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund, Ward 8, South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen or to Marie Curie Nursing c/o Peter Carty Funeral Director, Garrison or any family member. Please use car park at St Patrick’s Church when attending wake.

 

Patrick (Paddy) Taheny, Carrickbanagher, Drumfin, Co Sligo. Peacefully at his home. Remains will repose at his residence today  from 1pm to 6pm., followed by removal at 6:30pm to the Church of the Assumption, Collooney, to arrive at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday at 1pm. Burial afterward in St Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to the North West Hospice, Sligo, C/o of the family members.

 

Joe Gallagher, Finmore, Donegal Town.  At Donegal Community Hospital.  Brother of Maye O’Riordon, Ardeskin, Donegal Town.   Reposing at the home of Seamus and Dymphna McGroary, Driminardha, Donegal Town, today from 12pm until 10pm.  Removal on Sunday at 10am to St. Agathas Church, Clar, for 10.30am funeral mass with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the patients comfort fund in care of any family member or Cassidy Bros funeral directors.

 

Margaret Philomena McKeon, (nee Lynch) Kinnagrelly, Collooney, Co. Sligo, formerly of Edergole, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim.  Peacefully at the Northwest Hospice.  Reposing at Clarkes Funeral Home, Coolaney, today from 6pm to 8.30pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Collooney, arriving at 9pm.  Funeral Mass on Sunday at 3.30pm.  Burial afterwards in St. Nathys Cemetery, Collooney.  Family flowers only please.  Donations if desired to the Northwest Hospice, Sligo, care of J.P. Clarke Funeral Directors Coolaney.

 

 

Declan Gilroy, Cleveragh Drive, Sligo.  Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.   Reposing at his home from 3pm on Monday followed by removal at 7.00pm to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo, arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the resurrection at 12pm on Tuesday.  Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Home private at all other times please.  Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Parkinson’s Society c/o Seán Feehily at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.
