Rovers pair in Irish ‘home-based’ U21 squad as Seamus Keogh plays for U15s



Sligo Rovers defenders Gary Boylan and Regan Donelon have both been named in a Republic of Ireland U21 home-based squad by boss Noel King.

The squad will play a training game against the Ireland amateur international side in Dublin’s AUL Complex on Saturday week, February 11.

Finn Harps’ Ethan Boyle and the Derry City trio of Josh Daniels, Ronan Curtis and Ben Doherty are also included in the 17-man squad.

Meanwhile, Sligo native Seamus Keogh featured for the Republic of Ireland U15s in their 1-1 friendly draw with the Netherlands away from home on Thursday.

It was the second friendly against that opposition in the space of three days for the travelling Irish party, and Benbulben FC youngster Keogh featured in defence.
