Michael Rooney, known as Mickey, 2 St. Bridget’s Terrace, East End, Bundoran, Co. Donegal.  Peacefully at the Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon. Removal this morning at 11:30am to arrive at the Church of our Lady Star of The Sea Bundoran, for Mass of the Ressurection at 12 noon.  Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon.

 

Mary McShea, late of the Donegal Road, Ballyshannon.  Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon this morning at 11am with internment afterwards in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.  Donations in lieu if so desired to the Sheil Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund, care of Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon.  House private please.

 

Thomas Brendan Scanlon, Castleview House, Drumfin, Riverstown, Co. Sligo.  Peacefully at his residence.  Remains reposing at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote, this evening from 5pm to 6:30pm to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, at 7pm.  Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 noon.  Burial immediately afterwards in St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney.  House private to family. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the North West Hospice, care of any family member.

 

Peter Daly, Abbeylands, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at St. John’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at the Sheil Hospital mortuary from 2pm until 8pm today. Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 10:30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am Mass of the Resurrection followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery. House private please.

 

Angela Chrystal, nee Monaghan, Ashbrook, Pearse Road, Sligo. Peacefully at the North West Hospice. Reposing at her home from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday. Removal from her home at 1:30pm on Thursday to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice or SHOUT, c/o Seamus Feehily and Son, Funeral Directors, Pearse Road, Sligo. House strictly private to family on Thursday morning please.

 

Sally Foley, nee Kilcullen, Larragh, Skreen and late of Ballymeeney, Dromore West, Co. Sligo. In her 98th year. Peacefully at the Mowlam Nursing Home, Sligo. Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West, this evening from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Adamnan’s Church, Skreen for 8pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skreen.

 

Ronald (Ronnie) Callaghan, Stephen McDonagh Place, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his sister Mairead O’Boyle’s Home at 59 St. John’s Terrace, Sligo from 4pm on Wednesday with removal at 7pm to Sligo Cathedral arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 12 noon with funeral proceeding after to Sligo Cemetery. Please note changes to these arrangements. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Friends of Sligo University Hospital, c/o Foley & McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.
