Donegal campaigner: Taoiseach needs to visit the White House



A Donegal campaigner believes there should be no delay in the Taoiseach visiting the new American President and highlighting the plight of the undocumented Irish in the US.

Enda Kenny has been invited to the White House for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by President Donald Trump.

He’s coming under increased pressure to turn down the invitation based on the decisions coming from the White House over the past number of days.

Foreign Affairs minister Charlie Flanagan will be visiting Washington this week and he confirmed to Ocean FM that he intends to lobby politicians on behalf of the 50,000 undocumented Irish.
