Sligo lost out to Mayo in the U21 North West Cup final at Markievicz Park on a final score Sligo 1:10 Mayo 3:12.
Sligo started brightly with points from Jody O’Reilly & Darragh Cummins, though Mayo lead at the break 1:05 – 0:05.
Mayo added two further goals in the second half through Kevin Quinn and Ryan O’Donoghue proved the difference despite Sligo drawing level midway through the second half Mayo never lost control.
