IBYE Regional winners announced



The North West’s representatives for the Irish Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year national final were chosen at a ceremony in Sligo last night.

Donegal, Sligo and Longford will all be represented at the final in March following the regional final held in the Radisson Hotel in Sligo.

Heinrich Ahnold of Stablelab in Sligo won the regional prize for Best Established Business beating out fellow county winners from Longford, Leitrim and Donegal.

Donegal’s Gillian Doyle from Cerebreon Technologies took home the regional prize for Best Business Idea with Longford based Brian O’Rourke’s City Swifter winning Best Start Up.

The National final takes place in Dublin in March where 24 finalists will compete for the three national category awards and for the title of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur.
