Claire Breen, nee Burns, Heather View, Sligo. Peacefully after a short illness at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Removal to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Ransboro, Sligo, arriving at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11am with funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 2pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the North West Hospice, Sligo c/o Burkes Funeral Directors, Carrick-on-Shannon or any family member.
Jack Glynn, Sheena, Drumkeerin, Co.Leitrim. At St Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick on Shannon. Reposing at St Patrick’s Hospital Chapel, Carrick on Shannon today until 6pm followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church, Drumkeerin arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Alzheimers Unit, St Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick on Shannon.
Anna McGowan, wife of Owen McGowan, Ahamlish, Glenade, Co Leitrim. Peacefully at St Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Remains reposing at her late residence until this evening at 6pm. Removal to St Aidan’s Church, Kinlough, for 7pm. Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St Aidan’s Cemetery.
John McDermott, better known as “John in Joe’s” Lissinagroagh, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Remains reposing at his home today until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Glenfarne, for 12 noon funeral mass with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Our Lady’s Hospital patient comfort fund, Manorhamilton. Family time on Thursday morning please.
Martin Kennedy, Rathglass, Templeboy, Co. Sligo. At Sligo University Hospital, Reposing at the residence of his nephew Noel Knox, Corkabeg, Templeboy on Thursday from 12 noon until 5pm with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Templeboy arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery Templeboy, House private to family from 5pm on Thursday evening please.
Ellie Gillespie, Sandymount, Dublin and late of Malinmore, Glencolmcille, Co. Donegal. Remains will arrive at St. Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille at 7pm this evening. Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11a, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
