Donegal pair named in Women’s National League ‘Team of the Year’



Donegal’s Amber Barrett and Roma McLaughlin have both been named in the Continental Tyres Women’s National League team of the season.

Both play for Peamount United, and Barrett finished the shortened 2016 season as the league’s top scorer.

Meanwhile, Roma McLaughlin has been shortlisted for the league’s young player of the year award, along with Galway’s Sadhbh Doyle and Leanne Kiernan of Shelbourne.
