John Oliver Battell, (known as Ollie) Lancashire, England & formerly of Ardnaglass, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Peacefully following a long illness. Funeral arriving on Wednesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote at 7pm via Ireland West Knock Airport. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12pm, followed by burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu if desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support, care of any family member.

 

Gerry Wynne, Timpaun, Lough Allen, Arigna, Co.Roscommon. Son of Johnny and Bridgie Wynne, Lough Allen. At Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence on Wednesday from 12.30pm until 11pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Arigna arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to AWARE, c/o Seamus Gallagher, Funeral Director, Drumkeerin. House private please on morning of funeral

Hugh Agustin McNern, Keelogs, Inver, Co. Donegal. Suddenly. Removal from Gallagher’s funeral home, Station rd, Mountcharles, this evening at 8pm going to his late residence. Removal from there on Thursday morning to St. Naul’s Church, Ardaghey, for 11am funeral mass with burial afterward in the local cemetery.
