The mother of Riverdance star Michael Flatley has died.
Eilish Flatley was widow of the late Michael Flatley Sr, a native of South Sligo.
A native of Carlow, Mrs Flatley passed away yesterday.
Her husband died in March 2015; he was a native of Culfadda, Ballymote, who emigrated to Chicago in 1947.
Their son, who visited Culfadda in June 2015, has taken to Twitter to announce his mother’s passing – saying she is now with his dad.
