Low numbers waiting for hospital beds in the North West



There are just 4 people waiting for a hospital bed in the North West today.

All four are on trolleys in the emergency department of Letterkenny University Hospital.

Over 230 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country according to Irish Nurses and Midwives figures.

South Tipperary General Hospital is the most overcrowded with 26 people in need of a bed.
