BALLINALACK COMMUNITY PARK- We, the committe of the park are delighted to have received funding to the tune of €37,000, having recently been advised by an outside source to furnish an application with Clar for same. It is significant that committees can obtain these grants on their own merit and for this we are grateful. This money is going towards stop-nets and tarmacadam. The committee would like to extend a Happy Christmas and health, happy and peaceful New year to all our supporters.
BUNNANADDEN GAA- Congratulations to Padraig and Sarah Doohan on winning €1,000 in the Club Sligo Draw recently. Also congratulations to the St. Attractas Senior team on winning the Connacht A league final on Thursday evening last against St. Coleman’s of Clairemorris. Especially to our three club members Adrian Frain, Colm Doddy and man of the match Kian Brett, a great achievement as this is the first time St. Attracta’s have won a Senior A league final.
The club are holding a Social in Perry’s Tavern on Sunday the 1st January 2017. On the night the final Members Draw for €2500 will take place. There will be music and refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
The AGM for Bunnanadden GAA takes place on Saturday evening the 7th January at 8pm in the community park. All members are asked to attend also new members welcome.
