Donegal report surplus of €87K at annual convention



The Donegal County Convention took place yesterday in Donegal Town.

The county reported a surplus of over €87,000 on income totalling over €1.4 million.

Convoy’s Conor McDermott has been elected onto the executive as coaching officer, but otherwise the main officers were all re-elected unopposed.

PJ McGowan and Liam McElhinney were elected as Ulster Council representatives, while David McLoone, Edward Molloy and Brendan Kelly were named as delegates to the Ulster Convention, and Mick McGrath will be the delegate to the national congress.

The Leitrim County Convention takes place tonight, getting underway in the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon from 7.30pm.
