Festivals and events in Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo can now apply for funding for 2017.
Funding is available under Failte Ireland’s 2017 Regional Festivals and Participative Events Programme.
Last year the initiative saw 207 events nationwide supported to the value of almost 700 thousand euro.
Some of those included the Sligo Summerfest and the Ardara festival.
Applications opened this week with a deadline of 12 noon on Monday January 16th
