Hundreds turn out for ANC meeting in Leitrim



Over 300 people attended a meeting to discuss the review of ANC payments over the weekend.

It took place in the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday night.

Farmers came from all over the north west region to make their views known to the Midlands North West MEPs who attended the meeting.

Speaking to Ocean FM in Enniscrone last night President of the Irish Farmers Association Joe Healy said they want to send out a message on the issue to ensure that Irish Agriculture is protected:
