N4 upgrade needed for future of Sligo says Chamber of Commerce



The Sligo Chamber of Commerce are hoping to see the N4 upgraded for the future of the county.

The chamber, which represents over 200 businesses, believes the current N4 to be the biggest infrastructural obstacle hindering the economic development of County Sligo.

Members of the group met with local Dail representatives recently to receive an update on plans for the road.

They were told work is planned for the Collooney to Castlebaldwin stretch of the national route to take place soon and they have the support of all local representatives in pushing for it’s completion.
